Day 1: Arrival in Dehradun | Drive to Sankri

Arrive in Dehradun by 7:00 AM. Meet our representative and board the vehicles for Sankri (6,400 ft), a scenic drive through Mussoorie and the Tons Valley. Reach Sankri by evening, check into the guesthouse, and attend a briefing session about the trek. Dinner and overnight stay in Sankri.

Day 2: Trek from Sankri to Juda Ka Talab

After breakfast, start the trek to Juda Ka Talab (9,100 ft). The trail passes through dense pine forests and gradually ascends. Reach the beautiful campsite near the frozen Juda Ka Talab lake by afternoon. Enjoy hot lunch at the campsite. Evening at leisure to explore the frozen lake surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

Day 3: Trek from Juda Ka Talab to Kedarkantha Base Camp

Post breakfast, trek to Kedarkantha Base Camp (11,250 ft). The trail offers stunning views of snow-covered peaks and passes through more pine forests. Reach the base camp by early afternoon. After lunch, you can practice using microspikes and gaiters (provided by us) for the summit climb. Enjoy the sunset views. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

Day 4: Summit Day | Base Camp to Kedarkantha Peak and back to Hargaon Camp

Start early (around 2:00 AM) for the summit climb. The steep ascent through snow takes about 4-5 hours to reach the Kedarkantha summit (12,500 ft). Enjoy breathtaking 360° views of the Himalayas at sunrise. Descend back to base camp for breakfast, then continue descending to Hargaon Camp (8,900 ft). Dinner and overnight stay in tents.
